Our Beliefs

1. The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible is the verbally inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, without error in its original writing. It is the complete revelation of God's will for salvation and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; John 17:17

2. The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal in divine perfection and execute distinct but harmonious offices in creation, providence, and redemption.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4

3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, miraculous works, substitutionary and atoning death on the cross for our sins, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, where he now serves as High Priest and Advocate for His people.
Scripture: John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 1:3–4; Hebrews 7:25

4. The Holy Spirit and His Present Ministry
We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. The Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and regenerates the sinner upon faith in Christ. He baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ, permanently indwells them, and seals them for the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit also fills, empowers, and bestows spiritual gifts upon believers for godly living and effective service today.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit that we see on display in the New Testament are still active within the life of the church. These gifts did not end with the close of the New Testament or the death of the last apostle.
Scripture: John 16:7–11; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:4–13; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18

5. Humanity and Salvation
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin, incurring both physical and spiritual death. All people are born with a sinful nature and are in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift of God received through grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not a result of human works, but is received through repentance and a personal belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Scripture: Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; Acts 4:12

6. The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. The local church is a body of believers who gather regularly for worship, fellowship, the teaching of the Word, prayer, and service, and are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission.
Scripture: Acts 2:42–46; Ephesians 1:22–23; Matthew 28:18–20

7. Divine Healing and Miracles
We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel and that God still works miracles today. We believe in the power of prayer and faith to minister healing to the sick and for God to supernaturally intervene in our lives as He wills.
Scripture: Mark 16:17–18; James 5:16; Matthew 10:1

8. The Ordinances
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the church: water baptism and the Lord's Supper. Water baptism by immersion is an outward testimony of the inward change in a believer's life, identifying with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's Supper is a commemoration of Christ's sacrifice, to be observed regularly in remembrance of Him.
Scripture: Romans 6:3–6; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

9. The Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all humanity. The saved will be resurrected to eternal life with the Lord, and the unsaved to eternal judgment and punishment.
Scripture: John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15

10. The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the "blessed hope" for all believers. His return will signal the consummation of His redemptive mission.
Scripture: Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Titus 2:13
